24-hour Holter at home in Asunción and Greater Asunción
What a Holter is
It is a small device that records your heart rhythm for 24 hours while you go about your normal day. It shows how your heart behaves during the day, at night and during activity.
What it is for
The cardiologist may order it to look into palpitations, dizziness or fainting, to check your heart rhythm or to follow up on a treatment. It is always ordered by a doctor.
How it is fitted
It can be fitted at your home or at the private office (Dr. Guillermo Enciso Velloso 2630, Asunción 001410). It takes a few minutes: the electrodes are placed, the device is connected and we explain how to note what you feel.
DirectionsHow long it lasts
The recording lasts 24 hours. The next day the device is removed, at home or at the office.
How you get the report
Dr. Rebeca Granada reviews the recording and signs the report. Patients taking part in the app's invitation-only pilot phase can also see it there.
